I bought a fantastic pair of denim drawstring jeans from Amazon in a medium wash that is so good for spring. The white tie seems a bit more hot-weather to me. We are seeing so many designers doing their version, I love it. The fabric is pretty stretchy, order your typical size (I’m 5’2″ for reference and the length leaves a puddle with sneakers, so would probably work if you’re taller).
